what you’ll do

  • Secure and support the generation or management of a $1M+ portfolio of business annually
  • Lead accounts in varying topic areas and manage client relationships and deliverables
  • Lead new business development efforts, including strategy development and management of pitch teams
  • Create high-impact communications strategies and leverage your team to optimize impact and results
  • Successfully integrate paid media and digital platforms, products, and services into new business opportunities
  • Design and manage client budgets and work plans to meet financial objectives
  • Build and motivate talented teams and enhance individual and team performance

your experience

As a qualified candidate, you have experience in all areas below:

  • Deep understanding of at least one business sector, issue, and/or policy/regulatory area and uses such expertise to raise the visibility of the firm externally (speaking opportunities, op-ed’s, white papers, etc.)
  • Leadership and management skills across the firm with account teams and clients
  • Ability to manage time across multiple assignments and clients including new business opportunities
  • Expertise at creating comprehensive communications strategies and solutions

As an exceptional candidate, you possess many of the following attributes:

  • Experience developing and leading large-scale communications or campaigns
  • Ability to navigate the rapidly shifting, news, digital and data analytics landscape, and can creatively apply insights to client situations
  • Track record of designing systems and teams that ensure that everyone can thrive
  • Ability to grow and expand client relationships and budgets
  • Strong relationships with executives and communication professionals associated with an industry or sector of expertise
